VET stands for Vocational Education and Training.

VET is the fastest growing and most dynamic addition to post-compulsory education seen in decades.

VET programs are incorporated in the VCE and allow students to pursue vocational qualifications that add to their VCE.

Students involved in VET courses are able to complete nationally accredited training packages that articulate into the National Training Framework.

At Salesian College, Year 11 students are able to enrol in the Certificate II Automotive (2 years), Certificate II Music Industry Skills (1 year) at Year 12, they may choose the Certificate III Music Industry Skills.
