INSTRUMENTS

PERFORMING ARTS

Salesian College has a rich tradition in the Performing Arts. In Years 7 and 8, students study Music as a core subject and have the opportunity to become enthusiastic members of the Drama Club.

At Years 9 and 10, Music and Drama are offered as part of the elective program. At the V.C.E. level, the College offers Music Performance, Music History and Styles, V.E.T. Music and Theatre Studies.

There are numerous musical ensembles, bands and a comprehensive Instrumental Music Program which provide opportunities for students to extend their music skills and to participate in both performance and technical areas.



VISUAL ARTS

The College has a vibrant Visual Arts Department. In Years 7 and 8, the Design syllabus enables students to develop self Expression and technical skills.

In Years 9 and 10, students enhance these abilities through Media Studies, Visual Arts, Art, Graphic Communication and Photography.

V.C.E. Art, Studio Arts, Media and Visual Communication and Design are much sought after courses taught in fully equipped studios.
